A Bit About Me
Samson O. Okeowo is a dedicated community leader, IT professional, and advocate for youth empowerment, serving as the Switzerland Ambassador of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN).
Originally from Ikeja, Lagos, Samson is currently based in Switzerland, where he works as an IT System Engineer and is furthering his education in Cyber Security. With a strong background in system engineering, digital infrastructure, and technology leadership, he brings a solutions-driven and forward-thinking approach to community development.

Serving as the 2nd Ambassador of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Switzerland, following a formal vote by the NYCN Swiss Executive. Nominated by the 1st NYCN Ambassador Austin Igwilo, the pioneer NYCN Ambassador Switzerland, whose tireless dedication and visionary leadership laid a strong and lasting foundation for the council’s work in Switzerland. Building on this legacy, Samson continues to advance the mission of NYCN with renewed focus on structure, inclusion, and sustainable youth-driven initiatives.
Samson worked as Secretary General of NYCN Switzerland under the leadership of Ambassador Austin Igwilo. In this role, he was central to coordination, administration, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement, contributing significantly to the growth and organizational stability of the Swiss chapter.
August 2024 - October 2025
Samson served as IT Director for all NYCN Diaspora chapters, where he led digital strategy, IT governance, and technology-driven collaboration across regions. His work strengthened internal communication, digital infrastructure, and operational efficiency within the NYCN global diaspora network.
